Ive been to quebec several times it was great.Stayed at deer horn lodge in Manawacki. This is on cobanga resivior . Caught lots of walleyes and northerns .Saw moose, bear, lot of game. They had native indians you could hire to guide we didnt ,we went on our own.Big body of water easy to get lost. Many islands, turns channels hard to find way back.Hope to get back some day.

When you go to quebec, the farther u go off the pavement, the better the fishing, but i guess that applies anywhere, one year, we drove about 14hrs, there were indians living right there, that was the best fishing we ever got into, but to far to drive, theres a million places to go around the la verendrye park and its maybe ten hrs in, by the way,, starting june 9th, you need a passport or PASSPORT CARD to get back in the US. a passport card is $45 for adults 35 for children, cheaper than a passport and good for ten yrs.
