I got a 2 1/2 yr old dog back I sold as an 8 week old pup 2 weeks ago, his owner had to relocate for work & couldn't take him. He has never been out in the field or on birds before this week & wasn't raised with other dogs. I'm pretty happy with him, he has had no issues with my "pack" even my intact males. Very well-mannered, nice boy, playful & showing some good hunting potential. Pointed his 3rd bird ever, not with great style mind you, but not bad. His second time in the field, his drive was definitely better & he had a nice solid point, I think he'll make a nice hunting dog. Handles very well. I'll start him & then sell him down the road. Dog looks nice. I have a friend that raises GSP's, sometimes i have to shoot for them at the field trials and navda.

Thanks guys! He's not a bad looking dog, pretty nice manners too. It's funny since he was never hunted to watch him "find" his nose in the field like a pup at his size, always have to keep in my head he is at a pups level when it comes to birds still! Doesn't lock down on scent yet.....takes him a minute to figure out where the scent is coming from like a pup would. Shooter, who do you know with GSPS?? I know several breeders in the NY area.

The Novoa's who i know and have hunted with . I recall a fella named burghart also. I catch pidgeons and sell them for training for some. I have met quite a few people at the trials but as far as names i can remember?

I've known Tracy and Daniel for years. My brother just took a pup of them a while back.

Daniel! Couldn't think of his name.....usually just see Tracy at the shows. They did come to one hunt test last year, but I usually just see them at shows. There aren't many field trials in NY to speak of so I don't go there for field events....usually stay around PA, OH area for field events.

Here's a few shots of him his 5th time on birds, I'm pleased with his progression so far, he has a very good nose & his style & confidence is improving a lot on birds. He's proving to be a really nice boy around the house, even goes in his crate at night on his own to sleep.(the check-cord is for control to prevent him from chasing & catching the birds when flushed- these are young pigeons I'm using & some land rather than fly away)
