To All Members and Friends
We owe a debt of gratitude to Director Rich Palmer (PA Game Commission) for providing a "heads up" on this matter.
Two immediate concerns/cautions:
1). Brace yourself -if this issue "gets legs" we may be in a battle for survival, for the use of electronics, for the use of trucks, use of radios, etc.
2). We must use good judgement when hunting, always get permission, etc.
Please notify me in the event that you encounter any issues like this.
Thanks

Subject: FW: illegal coyote slaughter in PA.
FYI – an excerpt of a recent diatribe to the BOC that was passed on to me as an FYI that a crusade opposing hound hunting may be brewing. Just want you guys to know what is out there and being sent to the BOC.

well i dont believe in any of this electronic shiet...but these guys ride till they find a track or shoot a deer and hang it...then take the hounds there and turn them loose...the collars were made legal in the hunting journal for bird doggers..etc...not to be on dogs that are tossed out of the back of the truck..then followed in a vehicle....for hours...by use of a motorized vehicle to locate game is illegal..and sometimes these groups are in 10 different trucks..and they are crossing all types of properties without permission...It needs to say the gps is not to be used in motor vehicles...there dogs run down and kill fox and coyotes,,,and bobcat.....which is not hunting..it is dog fighting...while coyotes are in season all year..the fox and bobcats these hunters run down in the off season while training dogs...are not in season...and it is illegal also...as far as game cameras..you still gotta hunt that animal 1 on1..its senses against a hunters wisdom..once these hounds are put on a coyote..it has little chance..as they use 2 to 3 different sets of hounds....then the hounds kill the coyote most of the time...instead of the hunters...where is the sport in that...
thanks for passing it on ......there is a group trying to ban these guys...
